Ellipse Animation<\/strong> pr\u00e9sentera, jeudi 9 mars<\/strong> dans le cadre du Cartoon Movie, le forum des coproductions europ\u00e9ennes de film d\u2019animation, Yakari 2 (titre provisoire), <\/em>son nouveau long-m\u00e9trage en d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deuxi\u00e8me film inspir\u00e9 du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre personnage et de son univers, cr\u00e9\u00e9s en BD par Derib & Job (5 millions d\u2019exemplaires vendus \u00e0 ce jour) initi\u00e9 par le groupe, il est coproduit avec Belvision en Belgique et \u00e9crit et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Xavier Giacometti, tout comme le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent opus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le d\u00e9but de succ\u00e8s tr\u00e8s prometteur de <\/em>Yakari, la grande aventure pendant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2020 nous a tr\u00e8s vite incit\u00e9s \u00e0 repartir sur un nouveau projet, pour pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment poursuivre cette aventure enthousiasmante<\/em>\u00bb d\u00e9clare Caroline Audebert, Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d\u2019Ellipse Animation<\/strong>. \u00ab En effet, malgr\u00e9 une sortie en p\u00e9riode de pand\u00e9mie, le film a enregistr\u00e9 plus de 350 000 entr\u00e9es dans les salles fran\u00e7aises et connu un tr\u00e8s bon d\u00e9marrage en Allemagne avec 150 000 entr\u00e9es en trois jours -jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fermeture des salles-. <\/em>Yakari est par ailleurs le deuxi\u00e8me long-m\u00e9trage d\u2019animation fran\u00e7ais le plus export\u00e9 en 2021 \u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le choix du Cartoon Movie de faire figurer Yakari 2 parmi les pitchs de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, ainsi que la nomination du film pour le Prix Eurimages au d\u00e9veloppement de la coproduction, sont nos premiers totems. Nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux que leur bonne \u00e9nergie profite \u00e0 notre nouveau long-m\u00e9trage<\/em> \u00bb souligne-t-elle \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Dans le premier film, nous avons voulu rendre un hommage au trait bande-dessin\u00e9e de Derib. Malgr\u00e9 son animation 3D, le film avait gard\u00e9 un aspect 2D.<\/em> Pour ce nouvel opus je veux un changement radical, une nouvelle dimension, beaucoup plus profonde et internationale.<\/em> Nous abandonnons le trait de contour et les aplats, pour un rendu beaucoup plus volum\u00e9trique, beaucoup plus textur\u00e9 et la plupart des d\u00e9cors seront construit en 3D. Avec un vrai travail de chef op\u00e9rateur sur la profondeur, les optiques et l’int\u00e9gration \u00bb<\/em> indique Xavier Giacometti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le film sera fabriqu\u00e9 en France, chez Ellipse Studio Angoul\u00eame et en Belgique, chez DreamWall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ami de Yakari, Graine-de-Bison, bless\u00e9 par une harde de bisons, tombe dans un profond sommeil qui risque de le faire sombrer dans le monde des r\u00eaves. Tandis qu\u2019Arc-en-Ciel r\u00e9v\u00e8le ses talents de chamane pour le maintenir conscient, Yakari part avec Petit-Tonnerre \u00e0 la recherche du seul \u00eatre capable de le ramener \u00e0 la vie : son totem, le fantastique et dangereux bison Thathanka !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
